FCL: 2D Shape Transformations Due Tuesday April 19th

Great work on the first flipped classroom lesson. Not bad for a first try. We reflected on our experience and ready for our second lesson.

Everyday Math Unit 9.2 Assignment:

• Complete the following lesson on Study Jams on transformations:  http://studyjams.scholastic.com/studyjams/jams/math/geometry/transformations.htm
• After you watch the Study Jams lesson, do the Test Yourself questions and write down your score in your math notebook

• Then, watch this video on youtube:

• Tasks- In your math notebook:
• Write and define the following terms: transformation, reflection, rotation and translation
• Create a model/image with labels showing each vocabulary word (make it colorful)
• Play one of the following games for 5 minutes:
• Shapes in Motion
• BBC Transformation
